Word Images is an exciting love story. One woman, who had a creative twitch and a thirst for adventure, fell in love with a man who had an analytical bent and a life filled with international enterprise!

But this love story began in 1995 with just Connie, who had a love of life and appreciation for beauty... and all the skills to translate them into visual and verbal masterpieces. Her note cards, stock photography and art prints have graced the walls of offices and homes in several countries and continents.

The world is a blank canvas of opportunity for her camera and computer. To more than 16 years of teaching photography and creative and technical writing on the high school and university level, Connie added another dozen years as the public relations and marketing director for a retirement community and later for The Salvation Army.

Now Connie specializes in aerial photography; decor art, often hand embellishing her photographs on canvas or paper with acrylic paint, sand, shells, or other mixed media; writing non-fiction books; and speaking for churches, organizations, and conferences.

Her marriage with Michael in 2004 became a marriage of beautifully complementary talents. Born in London, Michael is a retired mining engineer and corporate executive with wide experiences, having lived and worked in seven different countries on three continents. He is the vice president and chief financial officer of their business, Word Images.

This energetic couple enjoys traveling and photographing the world, and sharing the message of hope and new life in Jesus Christ.
